# UpgradeDjango.com > A comprehensive guide to Django version releases, upgrade paths, and currently supported versions. Brought to you by REVSYS, leaders in Django consulting and development. UpgradeDjango.com provides detailed information on Django version releases including upgrade instructions, highlights, gotchas, and support timelines. The site serves as both a community resource and lead generation for REVSYS Django consulting services. Built with Hugo static site generator, deployed on CloudFlare with Google Storage bucket hosting. Features detailed release data for every Django version from 0.9 to current releases. The full text of every supported release page and upgrade guide is at https://upgradedjango.com/llms-full.txt. Every page also serves a clean markdown twin at its own URL plus `index.md`, e.g. https://upgradedjango.com/6.1/index.md. Last updated: August 18, 2026. This file is regenerated from the site's release data on every deploy, so every date and version number below is current as of that date. Django 6.2 is the final release under the old X.Y cycle. Starting with Django 2028, releases are annual under DEP 20: one year of bugfixes followed by two years of security and data-loss fixes. Dates for unreleased versions come from the Django release roadmap and are subject to change. ## Documentation - [Full text](https://upgradedjango.com/llms-full.txt): Every supported release page and upgrade guide in one document - [About](https://upgradedjango.com/about/): Background on the project and REVSYS services - [How To Upgrade](https://upgradedjango.com/how-to/): Step-by-step Django upgrade instructions - [FAQ](https://upgradedjango.com/faq/): Frequently asked questions about Django upgrades - [Why Upgrade](https://upgradedjango.com/why/): Benefits and reasons to keep Django updated ## Django Versions - [Current Supported Versions](https://upgradedjango.com/current/): Currently supported Django releases - [Django 6.1](https://upgradedjango.com/6.1/): Supported until April 2027 - [Django 6.0](https://upgradedjango.com/6.0/): Extended (security-only) support until April 2027 - [Django 5.2 LTS](https://upgradedjango.com/5.2/): LTS release, extended (security-only) support until April 2028 - [Django 4.2 LTS](https://upgradedjango.com/4.2/): Previous LTS release (end of life as of April 2026) - [All Versions](https://upgradedjango.com/): Complete list of all Django releases ## Current LTS Versions - [Django 5.2.17](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/5.2.17/): Latest patch in the Django 5.2.x LTS series (series released April 2, 2025; mainstream support ended December 2025; extended support until April 2028) ## End of Life Versions - [Django 4.2.30](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/4.2.30/): Final patch in the Django 4.2.x LTS series (end of life as of April 2026) ## Latest Releases (as of August 5, 2026) - [Django 6.1](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/6.1/): Feature release (August 5, 2026) - [Django 6.0.8](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/6.0.8/): Security release (August 4, 2026) - [Django 5.2.17](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/5.2.17/): Security release (August 4, 2026) - [Django 6.0.7](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/6.0.7/): Security release (July 7, 2026) - [Django 5.2.16](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/5.2.16/): Security release (July 7, 2026) - [Django 6.0.6](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/6.0.6/): Security release (June 3, 2026) - [Django 5.2.15](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/5.2.15/): Security release (June 3, 2026) - [Django 6.0.5](https://upgradedjango.com/releases/6.0.5/): Security release (May 5, 2026) ## Upcoming Releases - [Django 6.2 LTS](https://upgradedjango.com/6.2/): Scheduled April 2027.
