UpgradeDjango.com provides detailed information on Django version releases including upgrade instructions, highlights, gotchas, and support timelines. The site serves as both a community resource and lead generation for REVSYS Django consulting services.

Built with Hugo static site generator, deployed on CloudFlare with Google Storage bucket hosting. Features detailed release data for every Django version from 0.9 to current releases.

twin at its own URL plus `index.md`, e.g. https://upgradedjango.com/6.1/index.md.

Last updated: August 18, 2026. This file is regenerated from the site's release data on every deploy, so every date and version number below is current as of that date.

Django 6.2 is the final release under the old X.Y cycle. Starting with Django 2028,
releases are annual under DEP 20: one year of bugfixes followed by two years of
security and data-loss fixes. Dates for unreleased versions come from the Django
release roadmap and are subject to change.
